my personal ADHD journey
I’m Matt and in 2022 I discovered I have ADHD. Whilst my diagnosis suddenly made a lot of things make sense, I struggled to find simple, supportive ways to give my brain what it needed day to day. I founded get dopa to share what I wish I’d known sooner and to make the journey to better brain health feel clearer, kinder, and less overwhelming

Dana Chapman
BANT registered Nutritional Therapist
Dana is a BANT registered Nutritional Therapist specialising in ADHD, mental health and the gut-brain axis. Dana believes that poor mental health and cognitive function is not normal, and we shouldn’t be normalising it. We should be asking more questions about WHY and delving into th physiology, not just the psychology. Because when you understand how your body and brain work together, it becomes easier to know what you can do to not only support it, but to optimise everything. Dana was drawn to specialise in ADHD because, like you, following a diagnosis of ADHD she wanted an option other than medication.

Dr Ed Rainbow
GP and certified Lifestyle Medicine practitioner
Dr Ed Rainbow is an experienced GP & certified Lifestyle Medicine practitioner.
Having experienced burnout, depression and anxiety, and recovered using non-drug approaches, he realised that the medical model lacks effective methods to aid recovery from mental health issues.
Furthermore, based upon his experiences and learning, that the current support for men with mental health issues is inadequate.
To rectify this he has created Mens Mind GP which features blogs and tips to improve mental health holistically. Using his science-backed ‘Mind compass’ he can provide individually tailored approaches to improving mental health, as well as courses for individuals and organisations. He also provides accessible educational courses for men in the workplace.
